TORONTO — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold men's soccer team is happy to announce the commitment of defender Hazim Kadib to the 2025-26 recruiting class.

From Markham, Ont., Kadib started his competitive playing career with the Markham Soccer Club, where he played from 2014 to 2021. During his time there, he was a standout performer, finishing as one of the top three goal scorers in the OPDL in 2021, and competing in the OPDL Charity Shield at the U14 level. In 2021, he joined the prestigious Toronto FC Academy, a youth development system providing high-quality training from the MLS team. In 2025, Kadib was named the TFC Academy U18 team captain and led the squad in a notable match against Palmeiras at the Generation Adidas Cup. 

The hard-working and dedicated right back looks forward to his next step in his playing journey with the Bold. He will be pursuing a degree in computer science at TMU, ready to embrace the academic and athletic challenges of competing in the OUA.

"It is the right fit for me as a student and athlete," said Kadib.

Kadib is the 12th recruit of a deep and talented 2025-26 recruiting class, ready to make their mark in the OUA.
