Athletics and Recreation
Sport and recreation has the power to change people's lives and build communities of engaged citizens. The department of Athletics and Recreation at Toronto Metropolitan University champions a spirit of belonging, pride and excellence which enriches the academic experience and develops the whole student. We provide opportunities for students and our community to enhance their well being through active living and social connectness and empower our student-athletes to reach their full potential athletically, academically, and as community citizens. Further to this, our varsity programs serve as a critical component of the university plan to showcase the university and engage students through exciting on-campus events. The department of Athletics and Recreation plays an important role in engaging the Toronto Metropolitan community both on and off campus with a focus on creating exceptional experiences that extend beyond the classroom, promoting the overall growth and active well being of all Toronto Metropolitan students.
Career Boost Program (student positions)
The Toronto Metropolitan University Career Boost Program specializes in providing students with on campus paid employment opportunities to enhance their co-curricular experience, build their professional portfolio and support their long-term career goals. All positions listed below are part of the Career Boost Program and can be accessed through the Career Boost website. Positions are exclusive to Toronto Metropolitan University students and students will need to be approved for the Career Boost Program.
Summer positions will be posted in late March, while and fall/winter positions will be posted in June each year.
