Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

The TMU Bold Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club brings together students who are passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wish to train competitively in a supportive and disciplined environment. Our program includes both a white belt beginner division, where new practitioners can learn the fundamentals and develop their skills, and an experienced competition side for more advanced athletes.
Together, these two sides form the backbone of TMU Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team. Our beginner division builds strong foundations for new students, while our experienced athletes represent the university in Gi and No-Gi Quintet-style team matches and other competitive formats. Athletes from both divisions contribute to the team’s success at university competitions, including the Canadian Universities Jiu-Jitsu Championship (CUJC).
