TORONTO — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold men's soccer team is pleased to welcome midfielder Jamie Benayon-Abraham to the 2025-26 recruiting class.
Raised just outside of TMU, the Toronto native has developed important experience playing for teams in the GTA. He spent seven years in League1 Ontario with the North Toronto Nitros and played two years of varsity high school soccer with North Toronto Collegiate Institute. During his high school years, he maintained honour roll status, prioritizing his athletics and academics. During his time with the Nitros, he secured a First Touch Football tournament and two US tournament titles. His talents with the Nitros were recognized, and Benayon-Abraham was recruited to play NCAA D1 soccer with Mount St. Marys where he played one semester.
The team-oriented and disciplined midfielder is ready to take his talents back to his home city and make his mark in the OUA with the Bold. Benayon-Abraham is familiar with many of his new Bold teammates, as many also played on the Nitros with him, including fellow 2025-26 commit
Cyrus Rollocks.
He will be pursuing a degree in Sports Media, excited to attend a university with strong academics, competitive athletics and a welcoming environment.
"I have known the coaching staff and players for a long time and they have made me feel like I belonged here from the start," said Benayon-Abraham.
He is the seventh player to join the Bold's 2025-26 recruiting class, a highly promising group poised to make their mark in the OUA.
