TORONTO — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold men's soccer program is excited to welcome centre-back Noah Bickford to its 2025-26 recruiting class.
Hailing from Milton, Ont., Bickford arrives at TMU with NCAA Division I experience, having spent two seasons with Oakland University before returning to compete in League1 Ontario. A team-first player and natural leader, he has captained Simcoe County Rovers FC and brings a wealth of competitive experience to the Bold backline.
Bickford's soccer journey began with Milton Magic, where he played for 14 years, and continued through Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School, where he helped capture the 2022 AAA OFSAA Championship in his final year. He has also suited up for Scrosoppi FC and Pro Stars FC in League1 Ontario, earning a reputation as a dependable and composed presence in central defence.
A three-time Ontario Cup champion, Bickford says the highlight of his career so far was winning OFSAA gold alongside his childhood friends before many of them stepped away from the sport.
Drawn to TMU for its status as one of the nation's top soccer programs, Bickford is eager to compete for a national championship while contributing his leadership and defensive skill to an already talented roster.
As part of the Bold's 2025-26 recruiting class, Bickford is ready to anchor the blue and gold from the heart of the defence.
