BURLINGTON, Ont. — Three members of the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) men's soccer team have earned conference recognition following standout seasons.
Nabil Hakim,
Cyrus Rollocks, and
Justin Santos were named OUA First-Team All-Stars, the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced Oct. 30.
Hakim anchored the Bold's backline as a centre-back, making seven starts. The King City, Ont., native helped TMU record two clean sheets, consistently shutting down opposing attackers while initiating key transitions from defence to offence.
Rollocks, a newcomer to the Bold this season, led the team offensively, finishing fifth in the OUA with eight goals. The Toronto native found the net in eight of his 12 games, highlighted by a three-game scoring streak from Sept. 7–14.
Santos, a fifth-year veteran and leader, ranked second on the team with five goals and led TMU in assists with four, both among the top ten in the OUA. The Toronto native posted two multi-point games during the season, including a hat-trick in the opening game at Trent and two assists two weeks later at Laurentian.
