Aaron Rhooms has been named the OUA Men's Basketball Player of the Year, becoming the first player in program history to win the award.

- Led the OUA in scoring with an average of 22 points per game
- Shot 46.7 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from three-point range
- Scored an OUA season-high 43 points in a win at Brock
- Scored in double digits in every game this season
- Recorded four double-doubles
- Finished in the top 10 in the OUA in rebounding, grabbing 6.7 per contest
- Recognized as an OUA First-Team All-Star
- Adds these honours to an already decorated career, which includes OUA First-Team All-Star (2022-23), OUA Second-Team All-Star (2023-24), OUA East First-Team All-Star (2021-22), OUA All-Rookie Team (2021-22), Eyeopener TMU Rookie of the Year (2021-22), U SPORTS Rookie of the Year (2021-22), and OUA Rookie of the Year (2021-22)
