TORONTO — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold women's hockey team has announced the signing of forward Jeevin Khehra.
Listed at five-foot-10, the Courtice, Ont., native is the first official signing of the program's 2026-27 recruiting class.
"I use my size to my advantage to create opportunities and make impactful plays," said Khehra. "I'm also a committed team player who values communication and is always ready to contribute."
Khehra led all players at Ridley College last year in assists (13) and points (19). She also added six goals, which earned her Prep Girls Hockey Rookie of the Year honours.
"Jeevin caught our eye immediately when we were scouting her team," said Bold Head Coach
Lisa Haley. "She has relentless compete on the ice and is the style of player that you love having on your side of the ice versus having to go up against."
Khehra also finished with seven goals and nine assists while playing for Bourget College Prep during the 2024-25 season. While at Bourget College Prep, she also played on the team's flag football team. As a rookie, she helped the program win the 20225 RSEQ Provincial Championship.
The multi-sport athlete also won numerous LOSSA "A" volleyball championships.
Khehra, who will study Biomedical Science at TMU, believes the Bold offer her a perfect fit both on and off the ice.
"Toronto has always been close to my heart," said Khehra. "The opportunity to be near home, continue playing the sport that I love at the collegiate level, and represent a program in the heart of the city I love made committing to TMU an easy decision."
Khehra is positioned to make an impact in her first season with the Bold.
