Rams sign USF transfer Ivymae Perez

TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams women's soccer team is pleased to announce Toronto native Ivymae Perez as their newest addition to the roster.

Perez, a midfielder/forward, joins the Rams from the University of South Florida where she played for the NCAA Division I school during the 2019 season.

Prior to her college career, Perez most recently played her club soccer at North Toronto SC and Markham SC. Perez has also featured for Team Ontario at various youth levels.

Perez describes her soccer style of play as "technical," with a "creative attacking mentality".

As a graduate of Bill Crothers Secondary School and an honour roll student at USF, Perez will be attending Ryerson's Arts & Contemporary Studies program.

"I chose Ryerson because it offers great programs for both academics and athletics. The women's soccer team has been on the rise and I'm excited to be a part of the team's culture," says Perez.

Stay tuned to ryersonrams.ca for more recruit announcements as they become available.
