Rams seek revenge in rematch with Varsity Blues

TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams women's soccer team will look to fight back against the Toronto Varsity Blues following their 1-0 loss to them over the weekend.

With the Rams sitting just one point above the Blues in the OUA East standings, this weekend's matchup is a significant opportunity for both teams. With a win on Saturday, the Rams would move to a 5-3 record, and a win for the Blues would see them move past Ryerson with a 4-2-2 record.

With Saturday's match being the only game of the weekend for both teams, look for very strong starting lineups and organized defensive units on both ends, similar to last weekend's game.

Once again, the Blues will look to use Miranda Badovinac (Burlington, Ont.) and Jenny Wolever (Toronto, Ont.) as attacking threats, as they have 11 combined points so far this season.

For Ryerson, they will look to improve on their offence and be more aggressive, as they only recorded one shot on goal last game against the Blues.

This much-anticipated rematch will take place at Downsview Park this Saturday, September 28th at 1:00 p.m.
