Rams look for winning record to close homestand

TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams will play another set of back-to-back home games this weekend. The squad sits with a 2-2-0 record and will push for two victories after splitting the last pair of weekend matches.

The Trent Excalibur and Ontario Tech Ridgebacks (formerly UOIT) are set to visit Downsview Park on Friday night and Sunday afternoon, respectively.

This will pose a new challenge for the Rams, who have only faced the Queen's Gaels and RMC Paladins throughout four games. Trent boasts a 1-1-1 record, losing their last game 3-0 against Ottawa. Ontario Tech sports a 1-2-1 record, drawing their previous match 2-2 versus Laurentian.

The Rams will be looking to build further momentum after their 3-0 win over RMC last Sunday. Ryerson played a strong game, outshooting the Paladins 21-2.

BreAnah Webster (Pickering, Ont.) continues to be a player to watch, with three points in four games including Sunday's game-winning goal. She has also earned back-to-back Athlete of the Week honours to start the season. Keeper Alessia Zito (Toronto, Ont.) is also coming off a clean sheet in her first OUA start.

The Rams have yet to win two matches in a row this season and the team will be looking to play a balanced effort after both a scoreless loss against Queen's and the aforementioned clean sheet RMC victory last weekend.

Kick off is set for 6:00 p.m. on Friday versus Trent and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday against Ontario Tech.
