SUDBURY, Ont. - For the third straight game, the Ryerson Rams women's soccer team found themselves earning one point with a 0-0 draw against the Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday.
BOXSCORE
The Rams outshot the Voyageurs 7-2 in the first half but couldn't find the back of the net in their opportunities.
In the second half it was Laurentian who found their offensive game, firing eight shots on goal in the final 45 minutes but Rams keeper Elisa Lapadula (Brampton, Ont.) was up to the task.
Ryerson didn't just sit back, registering six shots on goal of their own, but Voyageurs netminder Caitlin McNamara shut the door.
Sunday marked the first meeting between the teams since their playoff bought last October.
The Rams record runs to 1-3-5, good for eight points and ninth in the division. Ryerson is back in action next weekend when they host the RMC Paladins and Queen's Gaels at Downsview Park.
