NORTH BAY, Ont. - The Ryerson Rams women's soccer team used a strong second half to earn a 2-2 draw against the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday afternoon.

The Rams found themselves down 2-0 at halftime but battled back with two goals of their own to get a point out of the contest.
Nipissing's Taylor Barkley opened the scoring just five minutes into the game before Madison Logan doubled the Lakers' lead in the 17th minute. The Lakers outshot the Rams 5-2 in the first half.
Ryerson found their game right out of the halftime break, as Anastasia Grekos (Toronto) scored her first OUA goal in the 48th minute to get the Rams on the board. The momentum stayed with the Rams and after sustained pressure winger Katherine Sollbach (Burlington, Ont.) netted the equalizer in the 78th minute.
The Rams piled on 11 shots in the second half compared to just three for the Lakers.
Ryerson keeper Elisa Lapadula (Brampton, Ont.) stopped six of the eight shots she faced in goal.
The Rams will continue their weekend road trip on Sunday when they take on the Laurentian Voyageurs at 12:00 p.m. in Sudbury.
