Rams fall short against Trent

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - The sun was shining, but it was not a bright outcome for the Ryerson Rams women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon at Justin Chiu Stadium in Peterborough, Ontario.

The Rams lost 1-0 after a strong goal by Trent University's Abbey Pantusa when she found the back of the net early on in the second half. The Rams fought hard, but were unable to make a comeback as Trent made a number of consistent, defensive plays.

Earlier on in the season, the Ryerson Rams had tied Trent 1-1. The Rams now stand at 1-3-2.

In hopes to get back on track alike the start of their season, the Rams are looking forward to facing off with UOIT who they have previously won against. Kickoff is set for Sunday, September 16th at Vaso's Field in Oshawa, Ontario for 1:00pm.
