TORONTO — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold women's hockey team is excited to announce the commitment of forward Alizée LeBlanc as the newest addition to the 2025-26 recruiting class.
"Alizée has been on our radar screen for many years, and we are excited that her hockey journey has now led her to TMU," said Head Coach
Lisa Haley. "She is a two-way centre, able to play in a lot of situations, and her experience at the University level will really help our young group of forwards next season."
Originally from Dieppe, N.B., LeBlanc brings a strong East Coast resume, having played for the U22 Elite Ridley College Tigers and representing Team New Brunswick at the 2023 Canada Winter Games. At Ridley, she served as the Assistant Captain in her senior year.
LeBlanc has spent the past two seasons competing in NCAA Division I with Saint Michael's College. Prioritizing both her athletic and academic dedication, she earned the honour of 2023-24 NEWHA All-Academic.
Bringing her hard-nosed approach to playing both ends of the ice, LeBlanc is a reliable centre with strengths in faceoffs, shot-blocking, and defensive support. She prides herself on her attention to the small details that often define the outcome of games.
LeBlanc will study in TMU's Politics and Governance program as she continues her university hockey journey back in Canada. Drawn to TMU's culture of hard work and relentless effort, she believes that the Bold is a strong fit for her playing style and mindset.
LeBlanc joins a talented incoming 2025-26 recruiting class ready to make an impact in the OUA.
