TORONTO — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold women's basketball team has secured its fourth first-year commitment for the 2025-26 season, adding Reese Bolibruck, a 6'0" guard from West Niagara Secondary School and Niagara Juel.
"We are really excited that Reese has chosen TMU as her home for the next four to five years," said Bold head coach Carly Clarke. "Her length and athleticism, combined with her skill and work ethic, will bolster our wing depth and versatility next season and beyond."
A native of Beamsville, Ont., Bolibruck served as captain of Niagara Juel this past season, and played two years at Niagara Prep, where she won an OSBA silver medal in 2024. She was also an honourable mention on the Select 40 Circuit and represented Team Ontario as an alternate in 2024. Prior to her time with Niagara Juel, she played several seasons for the NGBA Welland Warriors.
Bolibruck cited both athletic and academic factors in her decision to choose TMU: "I connected with the coaches and players during my visit, and the Sports Media program is a perfect fit for me academically."
She becomes the fifth player to sign with the Bold this offseason, joining fellow incoming first-years Ella McDonald, Reese Bolibruck and Jessica Fuerte, along with transfer guard Myriam Kone.
