THOROLD, Ont. – The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold wrestling team competed at the U SPORTS Championships this past weekend at Canada Games Park, following several impressive performances at the OUA Championships in early February.

Leading the way for TMU was Dechlan Papadopoulos, who captured a silver medal in the men's 65kg division, scoring 8.0 team points. This marks his third consecutive U SPORTS medal, having won bronze in 2023 and silver in 2024. With his podium finish, Papadopoulos was named a U SPORTS Second-Team All-Canadian.
