LONDON, Ont. – Abigail Dove of Toronto Metropolitan University's (TMU) golf team tied for the gold medal at the Western Invitational Golf Tournament, held at St. Thomas Golf & Country Club on Monday, September 16, 2024. Dove shot a round of 76, sharing the top spot with Anna Foley of Guelph and Kristi Godkin of Laurier.

This marks Dove's second career championship, following her groundbreaking victory at the 2023 Guelph Invitational, where she became the first female golfer from TMU to win an OUA invitational event.

Dove's latest win extends TMU's tradition of securing at least one tournament title each season. She builds on her own success from last season, alongside Matt McRae's triumph at the 2022 Guelph Invitational.

Next, Dove and the TMU golf team will compete at the Brock Invitational in St. Catharines, Ont., on September 22, at Sawmill Golf Course.
