TMU Bold Cling To Victory As York Lions Nearly Erase 4-Run Deficit
TMU Bold got out to a 4-run lead in the first inning and held on for an 8-7 victory over York Lions in international tie-breaker. York closed the gap by scoring on a single, an error, an error, a solo home run, an error, a single, and a single.
Presley Johnston collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Johnston doubled in the first inning, singled in the eighth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.
TMU got on the board in the top of the first inning after Johnston doubled, and
Kaitlyn Leboutillier singled, each scoring two runs.
