Rams add OUA veteran goaltender Luke Peressini

TORONTO - The Rams men's hockey team is excited to announce goaltender Luke Peressini as its latest addition to the 2021-22 roster.

Peressini joins the Rams from a four-year OUA career with the Western Mustangs where he played 67 regular season games and 21 playoff games.

The 6-3, Nobleton, Ont. native played his final OUA season with the Mustangs in 2019-20, starring in a crucial role through their upset series victories over the Toronto Varsity Blues and the Rams in the OUA West Divisional semifinal.

Peressini allowed just four goals on 84 shots in the final two games of the series against the Rams and had a .933 save percentage for the entire 2020 postseason.

Prior to his time in the OUA, Peressini played 132 games for the Kingston Frontenacs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and was named OHL Goaltender of the Year for the 2014-15 season.

Peressini describes himself as a "good teammate and hard-working" athlete, and shares that he chose to become a Ram because of the "ability to combine athletics and academics at a top school."

Peressini will be working towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Ryerson's Ted Rogers School of Management starting this fall.
