TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams fastpitch team split their doubleheader against the University of Toronto, winning 6-2 and dropping a 4-2 decision on Saturday.
Zoe Delorme took the win for the Rams in game one. She surrendered two runs on eight hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Olivia Pepe, Delorme, and
Caitlin Tomotsugu each collected one hit to lead Ryerson Rams.
In the second game of the day against Toronto, the Rams dropped a heartbreaker as they lost the lead late in a 4-2 defeat. The game was tied at two with Toronto batting in the top of the seventh when the Blues scored two runs.
In the first inning, Ryerson got their offence started when
Olivia Stelmachowicz singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Zoe Delorme once again was in the pitcher's circle for the Rams. She pitched a complete game, allowing 11 hits and four runs while striking out two and walking one.
Ryerson collected six hits in the game with
Caitlin Tomotsugu and Stelmachowicz managing multiple hits for the Rams.
Ryerson is back in action next weekend when they travel to Ottawa to play the Gee-Gees and Carleton Ravens.
