TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams men's volleyball team is set to face the Royal Military College this Friday night in their only match of the week.
Coming off a four-game road trip that included wins over the York Lions, Nipissing Lakers, and the Waterloo Warriors, the Rams currently sit with a 3-2 record so far this season.
Ryerson is fresh off a gutsy 3-2 win over Waterloo last weekend where the Rams played impressive defence and tallied a low amount of errors. They will look to keep their streak going and will once again turn to
Xander Ketrzynski (Toronto) and Greg Vukets (Auckland, New Zealand) who had a combined 35 kills against the Warriors.
It is also likely that the younger players such as
Omari Young (Toronto) and
Derek Webster (Ottawa, Ont.) will see more time on the court if Rams head coach Matt Harris decides to rest some of his high-volume players.
RMC is currently 1-4 this season with their one win coming against the Trent Excalibur just this past weekend. They will look to run their offence through their leader in kills Michael Roswell and their starting setter David Hamilton who is currently leading the OUA in aces with 34.
The Rams will host RMC on Friday at 8 p.m on Coca-Cola Court and will look to keep their perfect 30-0 record since 2004 against the Paladins alive.
