KINGSTON, Ont. - The Ryerson Fastpitch team closed out the season with two close losses against first place Queen's, 2- 0 and 7-6.

Despite the losses, the team played well with outstanding pitching efforts from Alicia Callaghan, Samantha Jackson and Abigail Thompson.  The team placed third overall in runs against which bodes well going into the playoffs.

The OIWFA Championship Playoffs will be held in Carp, Ontario, hosted by the University of Ottawa on the October 13-14th weekend.
