TORONTO — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold women's soccer team is thrilled to announce the commitment of Goalkeeper Kyra Pettibone to the 2025-26 recruiting class. 

Coming from the United States, the Raleigh, North Carolina native is ready to make waves up north in the OUA. Pettibone brings her persistent drive and talent for uplifting and energizing teams. She emphasized the importance of team communication on and off the field.

Pettibone brings a wealth of experience, having competed with Wake Futbol Club from 2018 to 2022 and more recently with the North Carolina Football Club (NCFC) in the Elite Clubs National League (ENCL) from 2022 to 2025. Her talent was recognized in 2025 when she earned All-Conference and All-Region honours, as well as being named Conference Goalkeeper of the Year. She also represented Broughton High School from 2021 to 2025, serving as varsity captain in her senior year.

In addition to her athletic pursuits, Pettibone will be studying in TMU's Fashion Design program as she begins her next chapter of her academic and athletic journey in Canada.
