NORTH BAY, Ont. — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold men's volleyball team fell 3-0 to the Nipissing Lakers on Friday night.
Riley Donovan and
Kai Taylor led the Bold offensively, recording seven and five kills, respectively, while Taylor added two aces and two blocks.
Day Westell contributed three kills and a block, and
Declan Dunn facilitated the offence with 14 assists, setting up several key kills.

The Bold started the second set strong, establishing a 10-7 lead with several kills from Donovan. The Lakers then went on an eight-of-ten run to seize a 15-12 advantage and never looked back, closing the set 25-14.
The third set mirrored the second, with both teams trading points before Nipissing pulled away late. TMU was only down 11-10 before the Lakers surged to a 15-10 lead and eventually won the set, 25-18.
