KINGSTON, Ont. – The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold men's soccer team recorded a 2-1 win over the Royal Military College Paladins, continuing their hot streak following a win over Queen's on Saturday. The team returns home after a successful weekend on the road in which they secured six points.
During the first half, the Bold kept a hold on possession and
Chris Campoli secured the game's first goal in the 35th minute, his eighth of the season.
By halftime, the Bold were up by one and hoped to close out the match strong.
RMC returned fire in the second half, tying up the score.
However, the Bold fought back, with
Luca Di Marco scoring their second goal of the game in the 73rd minute.
The Bold continued to go full force towards the net and held off RMC from equalizing to earn the 2-1 win.
The Bold will be back home this Wednesday to face the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks at 7 p.m at Downsview Park. Admission will be free for all TMU home soccer matches this season and every home match will also be broadcast live on OUA.tv.
