AYLMER, Ont. - The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold figure skating club gained experience at this year's OUA championship, skating in seven different events while finishing in tenth place as a team.

The top finishes came from Julia Wallace in the Star 10 Free Skate event and partners Rebecca Chan and Regina Bautista in the Star 8/9 Similar Dance, both finishing in eighth place.

Wallace was joined by Sophie Dunkley, Marion Pollard, and Tina Mai for a ninth place finish in the Pairs Fours event. 

Anna Carter and Lia Torre skated together in the Star Similar 10 Dance and finished ninth, while Carter also skated the Gold Solo Dance and finished tenth.

Pollard finished ninth in the Gold Free Skate while Ines Jaber placed ninth in the Star 10 Solo Dance.

The six-time defending champions from Toronto were dethroned this season, settling for bronze as the Western Mustangs topped the podium.
