BURLINGTON, Ont. - Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced the men's soccer award winners and all-stars on Thursday, with four Bold players picking up all-star honours.

Following a 9-3-0 regular season, consistent national ranking, and a semifinals appearance, Christian Westlaken, Luca Di Marco, Kai Martin, and Juan Pablo Delgadillo were all named to the East division all-star squad.

For captain Westlaken, this is the first conference honour of his career as he cracks the list of First-Team all-stars. In his ten games played, Westlaken was a steadying presence to the Bold back line and a reliable defender. His versatility was critical to the Bold lineup, as he easily fit in the midfield and could build offensive opportunities through the middle or down the wing.

Another first time all-star, Di Marco also lands on the First-Team list after a two goal, two assist regular season. Di Marco was a consistent threat down the right wing, using his speed to beat opponents to balls and his finesse to work the sidelines for possession. His ability to finish as well as be a play maker made him a dangerous player to defend.

Defender Kai Martin picked up a Second-Team all-star nod, his second consecutive year with conference recognition. Martin helped the team defence record seven clean sheets in 12 contests and was critical to thwarting opponents' scoring chances. Martin also timed his runs from the back line into an attacking position with ease, and became a dangerous player down the wing. His three assists ranked him second on the Bold this season.

In his first season with the Bold, midfielder Juan Pablo Delgadillo was named a Second-Team all-star after a strong season. His ability to win balls and dispossess his opponents made him one of the best midfielders in the conference. He was also a threat on set pieces, often swinging balls into the scoring area for his teammates.
