TORONTO - Are you a runner attending Ryerson University this fall? Are you looking to meet other runners, develop yourself as an athlete, and race at the university level?

The Rams cross country running team is a competitive racing team participating in meets against other collegiate teams leading up to the OUA Cross Country Championship and the U SPORTS national championship for qualifying athletes. The team is looking for runners to try out for both the women's and men's teams on September 8, 2021 at 5 p.m. at Riverdale Park in Toronto.

The competition season begins mid-September and continues through to early November. The team meets for training/practice twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Riverdale Park at 4:45 p.m., with meets held on most Saturdays. Runners are also expected to complete mileage on their own on non-practice days and a third practice will be held on Saturdays on weeks where there is no competition scheduled for that weekend.
