Every year the Dance Pak strives to incorporate new elements into its season to improve the team's results and overall experience, but this season in particular, marks the start of a major period of growth for the team. Along with continued efforts to increase their student and community engagement, such as through their upcoming annual initiative, Jr. Dance Pak for Jumpstart, the Dance Pak has been afforded many new and exciting opportunities. Just recently, the team had the opportunity to perform at a Toronto Argonauts halftime show for Ryerson's first-ever homecoming.

Meanwhile, the team has begun preparing its routines they will perform at upcoming Rams basketball games this season. The team is increasing their efforts to produce better routines with more creative and innovative choreography.

As well as continuing to perform at games, the team's practices will intensify in November as they prepare for the upcoming competition season, learning an additional six routines. The team has increased the number of routines they will be performing at competitions.

The Dance Pak will compete in three dance competitions in March against up to 23 other university and collegiate dance teams from across Canada. The team hopes to improve upon its seventh overall place finish from last season.
