Aaron Rhooms has been named the U SPORTS Men's Basketball Player of the Year, receiving the Mike Moser Memorial Trophy at the U SPORTS All-Canadian Gala Wednesday night. Rhooms is the first player in program history to earn the honour.

- Also named the OUA Player of the Year, a U SPORTS First-Team All-Canadian and an OUA First-Team All-Star.
- Finished second in the OUA in scoring, averaging 22.0 points per game, while shooting 50 per cent from the field on 376 attempts.
- Delivered multiple game-winning baskets with fewer than five seconds remaining.
- Recorded three performances of 30 or more points.
- Ranked 12th in the conference in rebounding, averaging 7.2 per game.
- Finished inside the OUA's top 10 in three-pointers made, shooting 37 per cent from beyond the arc.
- Led the Bold to the No. 1 seed in the OUA.
- Previously named OUA Player of the Year and a U SPORTS First-Team All-Canadian in 2024-25.
- A five-time OUA All-Star, including four First-Team selections, and was named OUA and U SPORTS Rookie of the Year in 2021-22.
