Bold add pass-first guard in Kevin Toth

TMU men's basketball continues to grow its 2024 recruiting class by announcing the commitment of play making guard and Mississauaga-native, Kevin Toth. Toth joins the Bold after finishing his high school career with Fort Erie International Academy.

Toth had a highly decorated high school career, both at Fort Erie International and during his time playing in the GTA. Toth is an OBA champion, while individually leading the OSBA in assists twice and was twice named a CYBL all-star.

"I'm a pass-first point guard who can also shoot really well," said Toth of his play style. The Bold, who finished fourth in the OUA last season in assists, will benefit from the guard's vision and ability to move the ball.

Toth also has a connection to the squad already, having played with first-year guard Michael Kayembe at Fort Erie. It was Toth's connection, both to teammates and coaching staff, that led to his commitment with the Bold.

"I have a great relationship with the entire coaching staff and felt it was the right place to continue my academic and athletic dreams."

Joining the Business program when he steps on campus in the fall, Toth looks to play a big role in the Bold's future, as they look for OUA gold.
