TORONTO – The Toronto Metropolitan University Men's soccer team traveled to York University to take on the Lions in the semi-final match. After a long and grueling game, an overtime goal from the Lions gave them the win.
Right away both teams had a great push up and down the field.
Early in the five-minute mark, the Lions recorded their first goal.

Luca Di Marco netted the ball minutes later to make it a tight match.
Going into halftime, the score was tied 1-1.
Into the second half the Bold were fired up, hoping to take the lead.
Dante Ferraro played a big game, making many saves and holding strong in front of the net.
The end of regulation was still tied, and for the second straight game, the Bold went into extra time.
As soon as extra time began, the Lions quickly snuck the ball past the Bold defense and into the net.
The Bold fought hard to equalize but as time winded down, it wasn't enough and York secured the 2-1 win.
