2017-18:  An OUA All-Rookie and a finalist for Ryerson’s RSU Rookie of the Year award, Albert made an immediate impact in her first season with the Rams… Appeared in 61 sets across 17 matches as a freshman… Finished the season tied for the team lead in kills (200) while ranking second in kills per set (3.28), service aces per set (0.54), points per set (4.0) and digs (186)... Her service aces per set and points per set numbers ranked her sixth in the league, while her kills per set statistic ranked her fifth… Appeared in all 11 of Ryerson’s sets across three games in the OUA playoffs, putting up 28 kills, 32 digs and nine service aces in that timespan… At the 2018 U SPORTS National Championship, Albert further established herself as a force to be reckoned with… Averaged 0.85 blocks per set, 2.69 kills per set and 3.46 digs per set in three games… Had a postseason high of 15 kills in the U SPORTS quarterfinals against UBC Okanagan on March 16, 2018… Lead her team with 28 digs in the Gold Medal final against the Alberta Pandas on March 18, 2018… Recorded a career high of 19 kills, 17 digs, and 22 points against Waterloo on November 25, 2017… Named Ryerson’s Athlete of the Week, twice, on January 22, 2018, and on March 5, 2018.
