Biography
2023-24: Appeared in 28 regular season games, recording 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points... His 97 career points placed him 10th on the career points list at the time of his graduation... In nine playoff games this season, recorded seven points helping lead the Bold to OUA Silver and a fourth place finish at nationals... Won the D.H. Craighead Community Service Award, Male Athlete of the Year, the Bill Kennedy Memorial team MVP and was named an OUA first-team all-star, as well as a Gold ‘B’ Recipient.
2022-23: Appeared in 18 regular season games… Scored 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points, a career high in assists and points, despite missing much of the season…Scored a hat-trick twice… Did not appear in the playoffs due to injury. In January, he joined Team Canada at the 2023 FISU Winter Games in Lake Placid, NY where he scored two goals and tallied an assist for three points, helping Canada take home the gold… His efforts this season would earn him a nomination to the OUA West First Team All-Stars, winning Team MVP, and a nomination for TMU Male Athlete of the Year… Off the ice, he would be rewarded for his efforts in the community with the OUA’s Dr. Randy Gregg Community Service Award for the second year in a row, as well as TMU’s D.H. Craighead Male Community Contribution Award for the second consecutive year.
2021-22: Played 15 regular season games in a stellar rookie year…Totaled 13 goals (two power play, two empty-net, and four game-winning goals), first in the OUA, 12 assists, and served 14 penalty minutes…Appeared in all four OUA postseason games…Tallied one goal, two assists and served two penalty minutes…Played in all three U Cup Championship games, had one assist in the bronze medal game against St. Francis Xavier…was named Male Athlete of the Year (after leading the OUA in goals), OUA Rookie of the Year, Team MVP, and won the U Sports Community Service Award and the D.H. Craighead Award.
Before TMU: Spent the 2019-20 season with the Brantford 99ers and finished tied for first in OJHL scoring with 86 points in 52 regular season games, including 39 goals... Was named an OJHL First-Team All-Star and was the Fan Favourite award recipient... Spent three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), having played 168 major junior games between the Oshawa Generals and Saginaw Spirit.
