Michael Fine joined the Bold coaching staff as an assistant coach at the start of the 2021-22 season. Fine, played for TMU from 2012 to 2017, and served as captain for three seasons.
A native of Toronto and a former OHL 20-goal scorer, Fine suited up in 124 regular season games for TMU, scoring 49 goals and adding 83 assists to go along with 22 postseason points. Following the conclusion of his university career, he played for the Esbjerg Energy of Denmark's Metal Ligaen and the Milton Keynes Lightning of the National Ice Hockey League in England.Â
As a coach, Fine has served as an assistant coach for the Toronto Marlboros Minor Peewee AAA team since 2019. He also launched his own hockey training company in June 2020. He graduated with a degree in Arts & Contemporary Studies in 2017.Â
