Biography
2012-13: Finished in fourth place in the junior similar dance event with partner Lauren Hildebrand and in fifth place in the intermediate similar pairs event with Alysha Gjos.
2011-12: Won an OUA silver medal in the junior silver similar dance event with partner Lisa Jensen.
2010-2011: Docherty found success again in the Junior Silver Similar Dance event with new partner Lisa Jensen winning the bronze medal at the 2011 OUA Championships. She was team Competitor of the Year and a nominee for Ryerson Athletics Athlete of the Year.
2009-2010: In her first season Docherty had an immediate impact. With veteran team mate Jennifer Ji, the pair dominated the Junior Silver Similar Dance event winning the silver medal at the Fall Invitational in Kingston, ON and Winter Invitational in Toronto, ON. The pair capped off their season with the team's first OUA Finals gold medal. Docherty was an Athlete of the Week, Ryerson Athletics' Female Rookie of the Year and an OUA All Star.
Club: Docherty trained with the Cambridge Skating Club and completed her Senior Bronze Freekate, Senior Silver Dance and Silver Interpretive tests.
