Biography

2021-22: Appeared in 10 regular season games in his fourth-year campaign…Tallied one goal, two assists and served six penalty minutes…Did not appear in the OUA postseason…Appeared in the U Cup bronze medal game against St. Francis Xavier.

2019-20: Played every one of the first 18 games of the season before his strong campaign was cut short due to injury… Tallied six goals and six assists for a total of 12 points… Most notably saw success against eventual OUA champion Guelph, recording three goals and two assists in three meetings this season… Served 14 penalty minutes… Named one of Ryerson’s Stars of the Week on November 17, 2019… Named Finalist for the D.H. Craighead award.

2018-19: Played 21 games in his sophomore season… Scored seven goals and 12 assists, totaling 19 points in the regular season… Had the lowest penalty minutes (2) amongst Rams skaters (min. 10 gp)... Had four multi-point games in the regular season… His 0.90 points per game was an improvement over his rookie year average (0.75)...  Scored a regular-season high of four points (one goal, three assists) in a 7-6 win over York on January 19, 2019… Played all five postseason games for the Rams, tallying one assist… Named one of Ryerson’s Stars of the Week on January 21, 2019.

2017-18: Made an immediate impact for the Rams in his first year of U SPORTS eligibility… Did not miss a game in his freshman season, tallying 12 goals and 9 assists in 28 regular season games… Finished the year tied for third in team scoring with 21 points… Capitalized on his gritty style of play, leading the Rams with 38 penalty minutes… Recorded his first OUA point as a helper on Marcus Hinds’ goal against Guelph on October 12, 2017… Scored his first career goal on October 25, 2017 in a 4-3 win over Laurier… Had six multi-point games in the regular season… Scored his first career hat trick in a four goal performance against Lakehead on November 12, 2017… Scored three goals again on December 2, 2017  against York…. Became one of only three players in the country to score two hat tricks during the season… Had three points and 14 penalty minutes across five postseason games, including a goal and an assist in a season-ending loss to the York Lions on February 24, 2018… Named to the OUA All-Rookie team after an impressive freshman season… A finalist for Ryerson’s Eyeopener Rookie of the Year award… Named Ryerson’s Athlete of the Week on November 13, 2017. 

Before Ryerson: Played 262 career games during four seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Swift Current Broncos, Seattle Thunderbirds and Prince Albert Raiders... Had 23 goals, 16 assists, 39 points and 93 penalty minutes in 68 games between the Thunderbirds and Raiders in 2016-17; was awarded the CTV Best Defensive Forward and the Third Star of the Season with the Raiders... Recorded nine points in 15 playoff games with Seattle in 2015-16 as the Thunderbirds advanced to the WHL final.
