Athletes of the Week

Graduate student Emily Baxter, pursuing her Master's in Biomedical Sciences, led the Bold to two impressive victories over nationally-ranked opponents, Laurier and Toronto. As team captain, she played a crucial role in both wins, tallying four points across the two games. Baxter recorded a goal and an assist in the victory over Laurier before adding three assists in the win against Toronto.

Alex King, a Master's of Business Management student and right side for the Bold's men's volleyball team, played a key role in TMU's split series against nationally ranked York. He delivered consistently strong performances, recording more than 19.5 points in each match. In Saturday's victory, King powered the team with 13 kills, four service aces, and seven digs.
