TORONTO – The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Department of Athletics and Recreation
celebrated the academic accomplishments of 99 student-athletes on Tuesday, November 25 at the Bold Scholar Breakfast.
The event recognized the student-athletes achieving 80% or better in their academic studies during the 2024-25 school year. Also celebrated at the event were the top two Bold scholars from varsity and club teams, presented with the Claude LaJeunesse Award. Certificates were presented by TMU Chancellor, Dr. Donette Chin-Loy Chang, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, Dr. Roberta Iannacito-Provenzano, Vice-Provost, Students, Jen McMillen, and Director of Athletics, Nick Asquini.
