Bold use hot start to rally past Lakers

The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold men's hockey team picked up their first weekend sweep on the road this season with a victory over the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday evening, 

Kevin Gursoy led the way for TMU with a pair of goals while Chris Playfair and Ian Martin helped manifest the Bold's 4-3 win on the scoresheet. 

The visitors rallied off three-unanswered goals after quickly falling behind the Lakers in the first period, adding a fourth and final goal in the initial stages of the second period to pack a lead that failed to crumble. 

The group will look to make it three-straight wins in a row when they face off with the Western Mustangs in midweek action. 

Puck drop is set for Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
