Athletes of the Week

Ivymae Perez proved to be the spark the Bold women's soccer team needed on Sunday as she came off the bench and turned in a strong performance in the midfield. Keeping possession and building the Bold attack was Perez's main objective but she also finished the scoring, netting her first career OUA goal in her second season with the squad. 

Third year scrum half and team captain Braeden Andreoli had a standout start to his campaign, leading the Bold men's rugby team to a convincing 81-0 victory on Sunday. Andreoli scored three tries and added eight conversions, accounting for 31 of the team's points. 

Perez and the women's soccer team has a bye this week and will be back in action on September 15 when they visit Ontario Tech. Andreoli and the rugby squad takes on Toronto this Sunday, Sept. 11 at Varsity Stadium.
