BURLINGTON, Ont. - Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced the women's volleyball award winners and all-stars on Tuesday, with a pair of Rams earning conference recognition.
Middle
Ashley Ditchfield earned her first OUA honours, being named an OUA East Second-Team All-Star. This season, Ditchfield led the Rams with 2.3 points per set and finished fifth in the OUA with an efficient 0.293 hitting percentage. She played in 10 matches this year and in just her second season has a promising future ahead as a team leader.
First-year libero
Mary Ann Rioflorido had a breakout debut season and was rewarded by being named to the OUA East All-Rookie Team. Rioflorido picked up 114 digs in 10 matches this season and finished fifth in the conference with her 3.56 digs per set average.Â
