Athletes of the Week

After ranking among the league-leaders in assists, Savannah Bouzide notched her first goals as a Ram this week, and in impressive fashion. Bouzide scored a hat-trick on Wednesday against Nipissing to help the Rams erase a late two-goal deficit to force overtime and earn a valuable point from the No. 10 ranked Lakers. On Friday, Bouzide was back to her passing ways, accumulating two assists in a win over Queen's. She now has a team-high 12 points which ranks fifth in the OUA.

First year defender Ryan Wells showed off his skills at both ends of the rink this week, turning in a sold defensive performance against Toronto in a pair of games while scoring a pair of power play goals on Saturday in the team's 5-1 win. 

Bouzide and the women's hockey team wrap up their regular season this week with three games, while Wells and the men's hockey team host Lakehead in a pair of weekend games.

Both student-athletes will receive a voucher to Globōl Restaurants located in Loblaws Maple Leaf Gardens.
