Covid-19 Spectator Protocols

We're happy to report that spectators will be allowed for exhibition and conference games!

BASKETBALL, HOCKEY, VOLLEYBALL

You can find the schedule for all exhibition and conference home games HERE.

Everyone will require a ticket to attend an OUA conference game; exhibition games do not require a ticket.  More information about how to get a ticket for conference games that begin in November will be available in the near future.

For both exhibition and conference games, the following procedures will be in place:

Doors will open 45 minutes before start time. In entering the Mattamy Athletic Centre, Ryerson students, staff, faculty and visitors will be required to check-in at the screening desk. Everyone will have to present the following:

1. Proof of double vaccination (full dosage +14 days)

2. Photo ID and age (OneCard, driver's license, health card).

3. Passed RyersonSafe COVID screening; either through the RyersonSafe App or at the link HERE, completed within 24 hours of entrance.

4. Please Note: If you are a Visitor, your Ryerson Contact should be: varsitygames@ryerson.ca

The daily COVID screening can and should be completed prior to arriving at the Mattamy Athletic Centre. This will ensure that you have passed the COVID screening; doing so will significantly expedite the check-in process. Failure to comply will result in denied entry to the building and the game.

OUA COVID-19 protocols state that spectators are required to remain in the designated seating/viewing area at all times. Fans are asked to facilitate physical distancing, as best as possible, between groups not in their immediate households and to wear a mask or face covering at all times.

Fans should note all signage indicating restricted access and follow the instructions of Ryerson game day staff at all times.

At no point may spectators enter the field of play or areas restricted to staff, athletes, coaches and team personnel.

Please Note:

Due to missing a hiring cycle during last year's cancelled season, we have a mostly brand new team of student staff working our events this season. We will do our best to make sure there are no major issues, but we do expect there to be some small hiccups as we get our new staff onboarded. The Rams Event Team would really appreciate it if you can show extra patience and understanding during these initial preseason games. Thank you in advance!
